FY2015: 27th SGH Cancer Research Grants, 13th SGH Special Awards, SGH Special Nursing Awards Ceremony

The 27th SGH Cancer Research Grants Presentation Ceremony, and the 13th SGH Special Award, SGH Special Nursing Award Ceremony were held in Kyoto on Saturday, December 5, 2015.
This fiscal year, following careful screening by the judges, 15 recipients were chosen from among 221 applicants, including universities, research institutions, and medical institutions from across Japan, for SGH Cancer Research Grants (1 million yen/grant, for a total of 15 million yen) .

In addition, as SGH Special Awards 5 million yen and the Kuriwada Eiichi a prize (a bronze sculpture by the sculptor Chizuko Sasado, titled “希望” [“Kibou”]) and the SGH Special Nursing Award of 1 million yen and the Kuriwada Eiichi prize (a bronze sculpture by the sculptor Chizuko Sasado, titled “悠” [“Yuu”]) were presented to winners who have made marked contributions to the progress of cancer research and nursing and were expected to continue to contribute in the future.

we held commemorative lectures by the 12th (previous year) SGH Special Award winners and SGH Nursing Special Award winners.
