Recognizing the importance of personal information, SGH Foundation has identified the proper handling of personal information as a fundamental principle of the foundation and strives to protect personal information in accordance with the following policies.

1. Collection of personal information
   When collecting personal information, the Foundation makes the purposes of its use clear and collects it through fair and lawful means.
2. Use of personal information
   Personal information collected is used only within the extent of the purposes of use.
3. Security of personal information
   The Foundation takes necessary and appropriate measures to ensure the security of the personal information it holds, including prevention of its leakage, loss, and damage. When entrusting personal information to outside parties, the Foundation manages and supervises such parties to ensure that they handle the information appropriately.
4. Provision of personal information to third parties
   Except as provided for under laws and regulations, the Foundation will not provide personal information to third parties without the prior consent of the individuals concerned.
5. Disclosure, correction, etc. of personal information
   Requests from the individuals concerned for disclosure, correction, deletion, etc. of personal information held by the Foundation shall be responded to swiftly in accordance with laws and regulations.
6. Maintenance and continuation of compliance efforts
   (1) The Foundation shall strive to conform to laws, regulations, and other rules concerning protection of personal information and other information in its business operations.
   (2) The Foundation shall continue to review and revise its policies, systems, etc. for protection of the personal information it holds, in light of factors such as changes to the Foundation’s lines of business and changes to laws, regulations, the social environment, and the IT environment applicable to its businesses.
