The SGH Foundation recently held the “Nagomi-kai” alumni gathering for past scholarship recipients and current scholars.
The purpose of “Nagomi-kai” is to provide a platform where alumni and current scholars can share updates, exchange information, and strengthen their connections.
Additionally, the event serves as an opportunity for the foundation to maintain long-term relationships with international students while creating further support and networking opportunities.
This year’s gathering was the largest ever, with a total of 90 participants, including scholars, SGH Foundation representatives, members of the Human Resources Department of SG Holdings Co., Ltd., and representatives from SGH Global Japan Co., Ltd.
Current scholars, who are preparing for further education or employment, actively asked alumni working in Japan about career development and daily life, gaining valuable advice.
Lively discussions took place among participants, making it a meaningful time to deepen connections across generations.
The SGH Foundation will continue to support scholars through such networking opportunities and work together to build a better future.
