SGH Special Award
SGH Special Award
In order to encourage cancer researchers and healthcare professionals, we give recognition to people who have made distinguished contributions to basic and applied cancer research and who show strong future promise. Award winners are presented with a certificate, prize money, and as the Kuriwada Eiichi Prize, a bronze statue of “希望(Kibou)”.
This award was established in fiscal 2003 as the Sagawa Special Research Grant Award. rIhe name was changed in fiscal 2011, since which it has been presented as an award in recognition of outstanding achievement.
