A social gathering for scholarship students (from the 32nd and 33rd classes of recipients) was held over a three-day period from October 27th to October 29th, 2018. The students visited the Sagawa Art Museum in Moriyama, Shiga Prefecture, where they had the opportunity to view works of Japanese painting (by Mr. Ikuo Hirayama), sculpture (by Mr. Tadayoshi Sato), and ceramics (by Mr. Raku Kichizaemon).They also explored Kiyomizu-dera Temple and Gion, participating in activities such as wearing kimono and painting Kyoto folding fans. These experiences allowed them to immerse themselves in Japanese traditions and culture.
