A social gathering for scholarship students (from the 29th and 30th classes of recipients) was held over a three-day period from Nobember 14th to Nobember 16th, 2015. The students visited the Sagawa Art Museum in Moriyama, Shiga Prefecture, where they had the opportunity to view works of Japanese painting (by Mr. Ikuo Hirayama), sculpture (by Mr. Tadayoshi Sato), and ceramics (by Mr. Raku Kichizaemon).They also visited places like Fushimi Inari Taisha and Kodai-ji, where they enjoyed activities such as Zazen meditation and marveled at the scenic beauty adorned with autumn foliage. This provided them with an opportunity to engage with Japanese traditions and culture.
